Forum in India brings together travel Media
and travel trade members to foster excellence,
uphold ethical standards and promote professional development.
Delhi
based travel journalists under the
guidance of visionary and award winning travel
writer, late Mr. L.K.Bakhshi, founded
Travel Media Forum in 1994. Mr. L.K.Bakhshi ,
a pioneer in tourism was recipient
of Travel Agents Association of India's prestigious award
"Sanghi Trophy"
and "Rajiv Gandhi Excellence
award" for his contribution
to tourism.
Mr. L.K.Bakhshi became the founder
president of TMF. He saw the need to bring the
country's travel media and tourism industry
closer together. Since then relationship has flourished
and the number grew both in media membership and travel
trade membership.

prime objective of TMF is to promote tourism in
India and interact with people and associations
engaged in tourism promotion.

seminars, workshops and conferences highlighting
the changing trends and challenges before travel
and tourism industry.

of media, travel and tourism industry.
